These Are My Most Recently Completed Models
I don’t want you to think I did all of the work on these myself. The models are hand-me-downs from my younger brother who has his own game addiction. Be sure and check out his blog which is all about gaming.
My Favorite Warcaster, Iron Lich Asphyxious
Personally, I think this warcaster is the best Cryx caster I have played. I kept having a problem with his lance. It was broken and glue alone was not working. I clipped a short length of spinner wire and used the beads to conceal the mending.
The model was painted entirely by my brother. The grain on the base was also done by my brother. I added some feathers, to mimic grass and some small stones to complete the base.
The Machine Wraith
In my opinion, this is a great 1 point model to play. It has the ability to hi-jack your opponent’s jack. Also, it is one of the kewler looking models. Again painted by my brother. I did the base.
The Sharlock Thrall
Another model, short of some touch up, painted by my brother. Mended and based by me. Technically, it should be a small sized base but it just does not want to stick to a small one so I went up a size.
More to Come – Primed Thralls
I am going to be covered with small dabs of acrylic paint for the next few weeks. I have just over 70 models assembled, most of them needing painting.
I will post more photos as I complete more models. I am currently busy on my Bile Thralls, Lich Lord Asphyxious, Bloat Thrall and Deathjack.
