Morons in the News
We all do dumb things. The two individuals I am about to mention, take it to an entirely new level. Arsenio Hall coined the phrase “things that make you go hmmmm”. I actually have that phrase as a category here. Check out these morons in the news.
How not to Apply for the Police Department
A 25-year-old woman showed up at a German police department. She was there to apply for a job. The duty officer thought it odd, as it was 3:30 AM.
The officer suspected she might be under the influence. She ended up failing the breathalyzer and lost her driver’s license. The source article I found didn’t have additional information on the status of her job interest.
How to Shut Down the Met
Roger Kaiser may not face any criminal charges for his moronic act but he seems to be a few fries short of a full happy meal. He went to the Metropolitan Opera and spread his friend’s ashes in the orchestra pit. Unaware of what the white powder was, the opera was shut down. The New York Post article also shows a photo he posted to Facebook of him with an apple on his head. Nothing was mentioned about any archer off camera.
Thanks for reading. I would like to give kudos to the NPR Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!, a news quiz show for bringing these morons to my attention. (More specifically this episode. I also need to mention that the show will be live at The State Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio on December 8, 2016.
