I know this has been a sporadic site for posting podcasts to of the late but I simply have my hands full enough doing a weekly 2 hour show over at Geeks Radio

I am also aware that many of you who listen over there used to download me over here. I know at least a few of you that have requested spins from artists that either I am not able to play over there. It may be something as simple as the musician and I have not made contact, there may be some material that is not fit for broadcasts with out adding bleeps or there may simply be a license issue.

This show is especially for those listeners. Thanks for all the support from all of you over the years. Can you believe that Usrbingeek posted my first podcast as a topic in lockergnome in Wyldryde IRC over 5 years ago? Seems like yesterday.

I have also begun archiving the Geeks Radio past show here at lumpy’s corner. The catagory for those shows is Lumpy on Geeks Radio. Soon enough I will have more up and will also begin a similar archive for the old Radio Static podcasts.

For now here is what I went with in terms of music:

  • I opened the show with a band that I do play over at Geeks Radio. 100 Year Picnic. These guys are very supportive of podcasters and were even nice enough to surprise us with and intro back when I did Radio Static. I played the following:
    • Take this Town
    • Make Things Right
    • You can also find 100 Year Picnic at Pod Show
  • Next I played some material from Kelcy Mae. I sent it out to one who has requested it, check out Dave at Dave and Ethell’s PlaceI played:

    • A Cut For You
    • Texas Sky
    • A Select Few
    • Strange Confidence
    • You can also find rough cuts of Kelcy Mae tracks at Podsafe Audio
  • The next set was sent out to Cleta who was the lucky recipient of a Pale Hollow CD. I played the following from this band that I also spin over at Geeks Radio:

    • Rolling Through the Days
    • Sugar Cane
    • Roll the Stone Away
    • Let the Change Begin
    • Pale Hollow can aslo be found over at Pod Show
  • I next played some Matthew Ebel and it was sent out to one I know as noggie and/or Dog Reader. You can check her out at Lockergnome, Public Radar and Flying Hamster. The set to "Noggieness" included:

    • Drive Away
    • Sally Went Down
    • This Too Shall Pass
    • Matthew Ebel can also be found at Pod Show
  • I closed out the show with a track that I love and receives praise every time I air it at Geeks Radio. I played "Grover’s Tune" by Bill Mecca. You can also find Bill at Pod Show
