I know this has been a sporadic site for posting podcasts to of the late but I simply have my hands full enough doing a weekly 2 hour show over at <a href = "http://www.geeksradio.fm" target ="blank" title ="Geeks Radio... Music for your inner Geek">Geeks Radio</a>
</p>
<p>
I am also aware that many of you who listen over there used to download me over here. I know at least a few of you that have requested spins from artists that either I am not able to play over there. It may be something as simple as the musician and I have not made contact, there may be some material that is not fit for broadcasts with out adding bleeps or there may simply be a license issue.
</p>
<p>
This show is especially for those listeners. Thanks for all the support from all of you over the years. Can you believe that Usrbingeek posted my first podcast as a topic in lockergnome in <a href ="http://www.wyldryde.org" target ="blank" title ="Wyldryde IRC">Wyldryde IRC</a> over 5 years ago? Seems like yesterday.
</p>
<p>
I have also begun archiving the Geeks Radio past show here at lumpy&#8217;s corner. The catagory for those shows is <a href ="http://lumpyscorner.com/WP/index.php/category/lumpy-on-geeks-radio/" title ="Lumpy on Geeks Radio">Lumpy on Geeks Radio</a>. Soon enough I will have more up and will also begin a similar archive for the old Radio Static podcasts.
</p>
<p><span id="more-105"></span></p>
<p>
For now here is what I went with in terms of music:
</p>
<ul>
<li>I opened the show with a band that I do play over at Geeks Radio. <a href ="http://www.100yearpicnic.com" target ="blank" title="100 Year Picnic">100 Year Picnic</a>. These guys are very supportive of podcasters and were even nice enough to surprise us with and intro back when I did Radio Static. I played the following:
<ul>
<li>Take this Town</li>
<li>Make Things Right</li>
<li>You can also find 100 Year Picnic at <a href ="http://music.podshow.com/music/listeners/artistdetails.php?BandHash=69733423704a76c5d7ae7477d25de44f" target = "blank" title = "100 Year Picnic at Podshow">Pod Show</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
Next I played some material from <a href ="http://www.kelcymae.com" target ="blank" title ="Kelcy Mae">Kelcy Mae</a>. I sent it out to one who has requested it, check out Dave at <a href ="http://daveandethellsplace.com/" target ="blank" title ="Dave and Ethel's Place">Dave and Ethell&#8217;s Place</a>I played:</p>
<ul>
<li>A Cut For You</li>
<li>Texas Sky</li>
<li>A Select Few</li>
<li>Strange Confidence</li>
<li>You can also find rough cuts of Kelcy Mae tracks at <a href ="http://podsafeaudio.com/jamroom/bands/164/" target ="blank" title ="Kelcy Mae at Podsafe Audio">Podsafe Audio</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
The next set was sent out to <a href ="http://www.facebook.com/reqs.php#/profile.php?sid=d94af4d2333b31e82c87715456fcfc26&#038;id=1384777721&#038;hiq=cleta&#038;ref=search" target ="blank" title ="cleta on facebook">Cleta</a> who was the lucky recipient of a <a href ="www.myspace.com/palehollow" target ="blank" title ="Pale Hollow on MySpace">Pale Hollow</a> CD. I played the following from this band that I also spin over at Geeks Radio:</p>
<ul>
<li>Rolling Through the Days</li>
<li>Sugar Cane</li>
<li>Roll the Stone Away</li>
<li>Let the Change Begin</li>
<li>Pale Hollow can aslo be found over at <a href ="http://music.podshow.com/music/listeners/artistdetails.php?BandHash=0c580bcc3f92bba1e16ef35998c8efcd" target ="blank" title ="Pale Hollow over at Pod Show">Pod Show</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
I next played some <a href ="http://www.matthewebel.com" title ="Matthew Ebel" target ="blank">Matthew Ebel</a> and it was sent out to one I know as noggie and/or Dog Reader. You can check her out at <a href="http://www.lockergnome.com/forsythe/" taget ="blank" title ="Dog Reader at lockergnome">Lockergnome</a>, <a href ="http://publicradar.com/" target ="blank" title = "Public Radar">Public Radar</a> and <a href ="http://flyinghamster.com/" target ="blank" title = "Flying Hamster">Flying Hamster</a>. The set to &quot;Noggieness&quot; included:</p>
<ul>
<li>Drive Away</li>
<li>Sally Went Down</li>
<li>This Too Shall Pass</li>
<li>Matthew Ebel can also be found at <a href ="http://music.podshow.com/music/listeners/artistdetails.php?BandHash=280202729dad1ad3a780a4d20afbe39b" target ="blank" title ="Matthew Ebel at Pod Show">Pod Show</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
I closed out the show with a track that I love and receives praise every time I air it at Geeks Radio. I played &quot;Grover&#8217;s Tune&quot; by <a href ="http://billmecca.com" target = "blank" title ="Bill Mecca's Home Page">Bill Mecca</a>. You can also find Bill at <a href ="http://music.podshow.com/music/listeners/artistdetails.php?BandHash=f0f9e83fe2ea5653d817b013f7d3e049" target ="blank" title ="Matthew Ebel at Pod Show">Pod Show</a>
