I am not even sure exactly how to describe this… either a mix of figure skating and bicyling or a mix of gymnastics and bicyling. Regardless of how one describes it, it is nothing short of amazing. Additionally, this young woman performs for almost six minutes. If it tried such a stunt, it would be only that many seconds before an ambulance would be called.
We all do stupid things. But there are certain individuals who take the concept to the extreme. It seems the planking fad has been replaced with mannequin challenge. Google will pull up over 37 million links in half a second. Who knows why.
As for the stupidity level of what I am about to share, one must wonder how twenty-two individuals lacked enough collective sense to not know it was a really, really, really bad idea. No shock, drugs were involved.
I shall not lie. I have done this. We did it in high school chemistry class and we were all carefully supervised. While it is reasonably safe, you can still get hurt. I do not endorse trying this without supervision.
Yeah, I have not done one of these since the start of the year. In the spirit of “better late than never”, “nothing beats a failure except a try”, and “try, try, try and try again”, I am giving it another go.
I am finally starting to conquer my health issues; the pain in my back is now almost completely gone, I have almost all the feeling back in my left leg, daily doses of bromelain are keeping my arthritis and carpal tunnel in check, my blood pressure is almost normal and, while still not perfect, I am sleeping much better. It is amazing how much more energy one has when not in pain all the time. It is time to try and get back to this weekly project.
Additionally, I am going to change the format a bit. All too often I am ending up with more than one link per topic per week. While I shall still reference stuff I posted during the week, I am also going to use it to clean up my saved RSS folder. In other words, you will be getting extras.

The term “hacking” did not always have negative implications. Originally, it was slang for some user hacking away at a keyboard to make it do what she or he wanted. Now we have white hats, black hats, and hacking conventions. It has turned into a perpetual white vs black game of chess. One side trying to make technology for us, the other trying to take advantage of use by using it against us. However, the most commonly used tactics fall under the category of “Social Engineering”.
This skit on The Late Late Show with James Corden, “‘Fantastic Beasts’ of the TSA w/ Eddie Redmayne” is a brilliant way to promote the now-released movie. It is the story of Newt Scamander, his character in the new Harry Potter film, dealing with TSA airport security.
