An Open Culture article brought my attention to this video. The 25-minute interview originally took place in 1971. I know a good number of people who are into the martial arts. I thought they might like it if I gave this shout out.

If you are interested in more Bruce Lee, his audition for The Green Hornet, for example, there are links in the article at Open Culture. The video is after the break.

This work has fortunately fallen into public domain.

The Simpsons Perform Edgar Allen Poe, The Raven

The Simpsons – Edgar Allan Poe – The Raven

Seems The Simpsons did a version of The Raven.  The video has also become a suggestion for educational curriculum. I am of the school of thought that education can also be entertaining. I had a physics professor who embraced the idea of entertaining while teaching… more on him later. Once again, I found this at Open Culture. I like the idea of using this video of The Simpsons presenting The Raven as an educational tool.

Additionally, the video is worth the watch and anyone can enjoy it. It is right after the break, check it out.

Big Bang Theory Lawsuit

Heirs Scratch and Claw Over Soft Kitty

I just got done with a post about a stupid lawsuit and I immediately happened on another. The heirs of the author of Soft Kitty, often uses in the TV show Big Bang Theory, are trying to get their paws on some of the show’s cash. (Yes, Sheldon that is sarcasm) Just in case, you don’t know about the song or the show.

Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty

Personally, I love The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon Cooper is an iconic character, the show is well written and I watch it regularly. I don’t like seeing Big Bang Theory lawsuit when I search Google. I for hope they don’t get scratched too badly on this one.  (Yes Sheldon that was satire.) Continue reading “Big Bang Theory Lawsuit”

Conan O’Brien Does Song from Marge vs. Monorail

25 Years and Strong, The Simpsons

I remember when Bart, Homer and the rest of the gang were just a short on The Tracy Ullman Show.  Would you believe that the spikey haired teen, his family and citizens of Springfield have survived 25 years on TV? Continue reading “Conan O’Brien Does Song from Marge vs. Monorail”

TV Everywhere users watch more TV overall

 File This Under “Not Shocking”

I have said it before, give the consumers an easier way to buy and you will sell more product… It is retail and not rocket science.  This is exactly why every ISP out there should be trying to figure out how to get the consumers more bandwidth for less and not less for more.

TV Everywhere users watch more TV overall.

w00t! – Heroes is to Return to NBC

Great news for Heroes fans.  NBC is to air a 13 episode Heroes Reborn mini-series in 2015.

While NBC is keeping it secretive, there are already rumors that we may see some of the old cast again.  Personally, I am glad that they are doing this for I thought the cancellation was a mistake on their part.
